Description

Specifies the Windows device to deploy and launch the UWP app on when using Build and Run from the Editor.

This setting is ignored when performing a regular Build to generate a Visual Studio Solution.

Properties

LocalMachineRuns the app on the local Windows PC.
WindowsPhoneRuns the app on a Windows device connected to the local PC via USB, e.g. Windows Phone.
DevicePortalRuns the app on a remote Windows device using the Windows DevicePortal (WDP) transport.
