XRDepthSubsystem.GetPoints

Parameters

pointsOutA list of Vector3s containing all points in the point cloud.

Description

Retrieves the point cloud points.

The point cloud represents positions in the physical environment used by the device for inside-out-tracking. Use this method to get a list of all points in the point cloud (also called a "feature point") currently tracked by the system.

The list of points is a parallel array to that provided by XRDepthSubsystem.GetPointCloudConfidence.

Existing data is replaced with a list of the current point cloud points. To avoid excessive heap allocations, developers may reuse the same list each call. A reallocation only happens when the list's capacity is insufficient.

If pointsOut is null, this method throws ArgumentNullException.
